Ships and Boats of Yesteryear in conjunction with Tinonee Memories showcases photos and sketches of a number of ships, that were mentioned in Tinonee Memories.
Lois spent many hours researching available sources such as information held in the local library, Great Lakes Historical Co-operative Museum and Manning Valley Historical Society, the National Library of Australia’s Trove website and sourcing actual photos from the family of the Late James Gollan, grandson of the well known Captain Hector Gollan.
The 68 page booklet has been self produced and is available for $20 per copy from Tinonee Historical Society Inc and Museum, 32 Manchester Street Tinonee. The museum is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays from 10am – 2pm and Saturday 12.30pm-3.30pm.
