The Chapman and Wood sponsored club event was taken out by Col Watson for the second year in succession when he defeated Steve 'Kiwi' Matheson 31-25 after 36 ends.

To get to the final Col eliminated Peter Kriss on Thursday evening on the 31st end 31-26. On the same evening Steve put to rest the aspirations of Howie Snelson on the 34th end 31-17.
Club Men's Bowls president Greg Bartlett marked the final and presented a flawless card which had Col winning 19 of the ends and finishing the match off by picking up five shots on the final four ends. Kiwi did get within two shots on the 33rd end but then witnessed Col getting the better of the encounter to conclude the match which was played in a very sporting atmosphere.
Wednesday – Dad's Army
It was pleasing to see Lorne Pillotto, who hails from Taree, take home the winner’s prize when he and Dallas Hammond put it over Greg Bartlett and Warren Smith with a +13.
Mick Hollebone made it back onto the green following a health issue and he played 'swinging' lead with Jim Gillogly and Tim Richardson to finish with a +2 over Jason Nicholson and Graeme Mansfield.
Playing out a draw were the teams of Steve Knott and Garry McClelland against Brian Williams and Allan Dodd.
Saturday Open Social
Tim Richardson was the class act when he and Glen Dennes put it all over Jim Gillogly and Claudia O'Donnell with a +17 result.
Dallas Hammond and Lourelle Dennes easily accounted for Hunter Payton and Daniel Leadbeater with a +12 result.
Chris Kane and Snow Trenchard got up by a shot over Michael Clarke and Tony Baker.
Playing out a draw on a very noisy rink were the teams of Jack Pie, Ben Wolters and Alana Burns up against Graeme Ireland, Peter Tindall and Graeme Mansfield.
