The free, family friendly event will be held at Wrigley Park on Friday February 16 and will feature the PG rated blockbuster movie.
Entertainment will get underway from 5.30pm with live music from Jake Davey and Joe Mungovan.
There will be kid friendly activities including a circus workshop and small sided football.
Once the sun goes down the screen will light up for the feature movie.
Newcastle Permanent Taree Branch Manager, Kayla Yates said the annual event is just one of the many ways they are giving back to communities that support them.
“Since 2008, Newcastle Permanent’s Cinema Under the Stars has brought families and communities together by providing free outdoor cinema events across regional NSW, and our second event in Taree is expected to attract 350 people this February,” Ms Yates said.
Newcastle Permanent CEO Terry Millett said Newcastle Permanent hosts what is now Australia’s largest free regional outdoor cinema program.
Attendance is free, more information can be found at www.newcastlepermanent.com.au/cinema.
