Final closing date for nominations for the 2018 Visual and Performing Arts Awards is now Friday, March 2, 2018.
“This is your opportunity to celebrate community creativity and honour those who have made outstanding contributions to cultural development in the Manning,” Manning Winter Festival committee president, Mave Richardson said.
The Awards feature three categories: Visual Arts, Performing Arts and a Special Arts Award.
Nominations are open to people 16 years or over, whether they are individuals, couples or groups.
Nominations must include information about each nominee`s contributions to cultural development and creative industry in the Manning Valley.
Announcements and presentation of the Awards will be made at the official ppening event of the Manning Winter Festival on June 1, 2018. All nominees will be invited to this function as guests of the Festival committee. Tickets will be available for public purchase prior to the event.
