Australia Day celebrations in Wingham are all set to take place in Central Park on Friday, January 26 from 7.30am with a free sausage sizzle.

The main ceremony will commence at 8am followed by the Wingham Rotary Club awards ceremony.
Eric Richardson OAM will be the master of ceremonies for the main event.
The Wingham Scouts will once again raise the Australian flag, Councillor Peter Epov will give the official welcome and reverend Darrell McKeough will say a prayer for Australia.
The Australia Day addresses will be given by Wingham High School captains for 2018, Ryan Smoothy and Paige Webster.
Following the Australia Day program the Rotary Club of Wingham will conduct the Australia Day awards ceremony.
Awards will be given for Citizen of the Year, Sportsperson of the Year, Young Person of the Year and Pride of Workmanship.
Following the awards presentations the national anthem will be led by Caitlyn Cameron.
The Taree Australia Day events will be taking place at the Manning Entertainment Centre.
In case of wet weather, all Wingham Australia Day events will take place in the Wingham Town Hall.
