On Tuesday October 3 the ladies played for the yearly Medal Of Medals. The winner was Sue Bartz with 70 nett. Sue also won the Robyn Dudgeon Trophy.

Division One was won by Pat Whiteley 73, Division Two Cheryl Andrews 74. Ball Winners J. Ditton, K. Knapp, N. Nelson, J. Surtees, S. Juozaitis.
On Wednesday October 4 the Wednesday ambrose kicked off. Eighteen players went round and the winners were Checkered Bobcat (Steve Welsh), and runners-up were Browns +1. The nearest the pin was won by Katrina Greenaway on the third.
This event is open to anyone and you don’t have to be a member, so if you wish to have a game in this event come and have some fun. It is a team event with three, four or five players.
The Thursday LJ Hooker chook run on October 5 saw 38 players go round with Beth Braham scoring 24 points. Next was Barry Brown 22, Earle Braham 21c/b, Kim Giles 21, Nev Blanch 20 c/b from Ken Squires, Garry masters and from two other players. Terry Grant won the NTP on the third, Dave Andrews on the seventh.
On Friday October 6 the ladies played a stroke event. The winner was Joy White, r/up Jill Hampton, and balls were won by Pat Marcus, Pat Whiteley. Robyn Dudgeon was the winner of the nearest the pin.
On a another great day the Taree Toyota Monthly Mug was played. The winner on a countback was Peter Christie 66. He also won the MRD Electrica monthly medal, and the Drummond Golf Voucher.
Barry Brown was the winner of A Grade nett and medal with 67 nett, B grade medal and nett Rex White 68, C Grade nett Allwyn Elith 66. Gross winners Scott Polley with one under par 71, Richard Dudgeon 84, Peter Tait 87.
The Golf Club Motor Inn long drives were won by Rohan Abbott, Paul Muir, and Ted Smith. The NTP winners were on the 1st/10th winning the Wingham Plaza Butchers voucher Scott Polley, 3rd/12th Wingham Gourmet Meats Barry Brown, 4th/13th Barry Brown, 7th/16th Bayview Seafood Bill Sullivan, 9th/18th Bent on Food Scott Polley.
Balls went to 73 nett with Trevor Abbott winning the last one.
The ladies’ competition was won by Katrina Greenaway.
