New Manning Hospital carpark to ease parking problem in medical precinct

Finishing touches are being done to the new Manning Hospital carpark and the additional 140 spaces could be open to staff and public vehicles by the end of August.

The streets surrounding the hospital are currently congested with staff, patient and resident vehicles and access to the new Pulteney Street carpark will instantly improve access to the hospital and numerous medical practices.

The carpark construction hit national news in May with the collapse of a crane and resulting injury to the driver.
