“This is a magnificent achievement considering there are more than 140,000 players who play LMS globally at present,’’ Taree organiser Trent Thompson said.
Meanwhile the inaugural LMS Mid North Coast Cup will take place on September 22-24. Matches will be played at both Old Bar Reserve and Taree Recreation Centre.
Twelve teams will battle it out for T20 cricket glory with 2016 Australian championship plate semi-finalists, Eggins Coaches early favourites. Old Bar Cricket Club have also nominated a side.
A feature of the tournament will be matches held under lights at Old Bar Reserve on the Friday and Saturday evenings. This is a first for LMS in NSW.
