Approximately 50 ladies from the Manning/Wingham area attended and were treated to a lovely morning tea and a chance to see some beautifully handcrafted cards and other items on sale, as well as learning what goes into the boxes.
I myself help to fill the boxes by knitting beanies and I came home with another big bag of wool oddments that will soon be made up.
Frances would like to thank everyone for their support, saying the target was almost reached.
Fundraising Bunnings barbecue
Tinonee Memorial Hall Committee, under the presidency of Jan Hayden, will be manning the barbecue at Bunnings this coming Saturday and are hoping for a good response from the public, with all funds going towards the continued maintenance of the hall.
It would be great to see some young new faces join the committee and all are welcome to the next meeting on Monday, August 14 commencing at 7.30pm.

Frosty morning
Tinonee experienced a very heavy frost on Sunday morning; our place was totally white so had the camera out to record the event. Thankfully the day was glorious. Just a few weeks more and we will be celebrating spring – where does the year go?
Date for the diary
A date to put down in the diary is Saturday, August 19 when St. Matthew’s Ladies Guild will be holding a Dutch auction at the Church Hall in Wingham. A soup and slice lunch will be on offer for $15 per person and books of tickets for the items are $2. More details as it gets closer.
Farewell Barbara
St John’s Anglican Church at Raymond Terrace was packed for the funeral of sister-in-law Mrs Barbara Muxlow last Thursday July 20. The funeral service was conducted by Rev Arthur Martin whilst the eulogy was given by Monica Muxlow.
Barbara’s interment took place at the Raymond Terrace Cemetery followed by the wake at Muree Golf Club ,where many family members and friends gathered to remember a beautiful lady taken too soon.
