HARRY Croker from Nabiac has been named on the bench for the NSW under 16 rugby league side to play Queensland in a curtain raiser to next Wednesday’s State of Origin clash at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.

Taree rugby league product Danny Buderus will be the side’s assistant coach with Brad Fittler the coach.
Earlier this year Croker, a back rower, was a member of the Newcastle Harold Matthews (under 16) side that defeated Manly 26-20 in the grand final. The Knights went through the season undefeated.
Croker plays for Taree Panthers in the Group Three under 16 competition and Taree City under 18s. (Further details will appear in Friday’s Times).
