On Saturday June 17 there will be a 4BBB stableford qualifying round for the Croucher K/O and the NSW Men’s 4BBB.
On Tuesday June 20 the Mixed Foursomes will be played over 27 holes; June 23 the Nashos nine hole ambrose, and on June 24 the Wingham Beef Exports stableford.
On Wednesday the veterans played for the June monthly medal with 48 players. The winner was Phil Anderson with 62 nett, followed by Trevor Burns 67c/b, and Brian Roberts 67. The A Grade Medal was won by Phil Anderson, B Grade Trevor Burns. The NTP winners were on the 3rd/12th Adrian Yeo, 7th/16th Sandy Dunn, 9th/18th Trevor Jones.
There were 28 starters in the LJ Hooker Chook Run on the 8th June. The winners were Dennis Bloomfield 25 points, followed by Dave Andrews 20, Ken Squires 19, Brenden Walker 18. NTP winners were on the 3rd Paul Muir, and on the 7th Patrica Whiteley.
On Saturday June 10, 35 players braved the conditions, which were not too bad, playing for the Geoff Swaffield Trophy. Paul Muir playing his usual good golf had a great 42 points to take out the trophy. The grade winners were for the A Grade nett James Urquhart 39 pts B Grade Garry Masters 40, the r/ups A Grade Mone Vilayrack 37, B grade Regan Woollard 37. The sharp shooters winning the nearest to pins on the 1st/10th Wingham Plaza Butchers Rod Brown, 3rd/12th Wingham Remedial Massage James Urquhart, 4th/13th Reid Brown, 7th/16th Bayview Sea Foods Paul Muir, 9th/18th Bent on Food Reid Brown. Ball winners S. Gilfillan, A. Kees, G. Swaffield, D. Woollard, S. Dunn, S. Hatchwell.
