Essery, 14, smashed 24 boundaries and seven sixes before he was dismissed by a spectacular one handed catch on the boundary.
Wingham made 320 and won the match comfortably to progress to the next round of the competition.
This is his second century of the season.
He made his maiden ton in January when playing for Mid North Coast under 15s in a representative carnival in Maitland.
Essery later represented North Coast in the Bradman Shield, the most prestigious competition for under 16 sides in Country NSW.
Essery was a member of the winning Manning under 19s side in the Mid North Coast inter-district final last Sunday at Port Macquarie while he also plays first grade for Wingham.
He captains Wingham’s under 16s side and his goal is to score a century while playing for a Wingham club team.
