The workship will be hosted by the team at MidCoast Council in partnership with Midwaste.
A recent study undertaken by the Australian Institute found that the average Australian spends more than $1200 on items they don’t actually use, or even need, an amount which equates to a whopping $10.5 billion across the nation.
In these fun and informative workshops, you’ll discover tips and tricks on how to declutter your home (and your life) so you have more space for the things that really matter.
You’ll also leave armed with helpful information on how to prevent the dreaded clutter returning.
MidCoast Council waste health and regulatory services manager, John Cavanagh, encourages those who need a little extra help in decluttering their home to come along and find out more.
“The Less is More workshops are a fun and engaging way to help people think about their stuff, what actually matters to them and help them to both manage clutter more effectively and dispose of excess stuff in a sustainable way,” Mr Cavanagh said.
