Superintendent of the Rural Fire Service Mid Coast District Kam Baker said the fire has been contained and one crew is patrolling the fire today.
On Wednesday there was an area where the fire breached containment lines on the eastern side which burned at additional three hectares, but supt Baker said the fire was still within the boundaries of their containment strategy.
Fire crews will continue to monitor the fire over the next couple of days, with hot weather expected for Friday and Saturday.
The bushfire has burnt 66 hectares since it began on Monday evening.
