Mark Russell the course superintendent who oversaw the construction of the course and Rosemary Roche, club patron and wife of the late Bob Roche, were on hand to cut the 10th anniversary cake.
Bob Roche and his brother Bill, had the vision for the facility.
The event was attended by 112 past and present members who enjoyed a luncheon preceded by a nine hole ambrose.
“Many a tall story was shared and I am sure if you wanted to count how many balls the participants had hit into the water over these 10 years it would be an enormous number,’’ club president Peter Budden said.
This event was followed with the annual presentation night with 92 attendees there to congratulate the club champions and other major event winners for the 2016 season.
The evening also saw the induction into the OBE (Over Bloody Eighty) Club of Vic (Buck) and Esther Bradley. They were presented their certificates and badges by Bruce Fleming chairman of the OBE committee.
