Victoria Police’s homicide squad has been called in after a man was found with fatal injuries in a Bendigo suburb on Saturday night.

Emergency services were called to an address in Energetic Street, Ironbark around 7.15pm,
When they arrived, they discovered a young man suffering life-threatening injuries.
Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said the man, believed to be in his 20s, was found unconscious with wounds to his upper body.
"CPR was being performed when the paramedics arrived and they continued to attempt to resuscitate the man," he said.
Paramedics treated the man, believed to be aged in his 20s, at the scene but he died before he could be transported to hospital.
Homicide squad detectives were en route to the crime scene late on Saturday night, Senior Constable Adam West from Victoria Police said.
