OLD Bar's Patrick Moses has been nominated for the Freemasons NSW and ACT community service award, one of seven categories in the NSW/ACT Young Achiever Awards.

Patrick has been a member of Taree Old Bar Surf Life Saving Club since 2006, progressing through the age groups and last year obtaining his surf rescue certificate.
Patrick is also a member of the Old Bar Barbarians Football Club as a player and also a junior referee.
He recently completed his referee certificate and is pro-active in assisting younger teams with coaching assistance.
Patrick, the 2012 student leader at Old Bar Public School, has also been elected to the student representative council at Taree High School for the last two years.
Judging for the awards will take place on Tuesday, February 23.
The awards aim to encourage, reward and most importantly promote the positive achievements of young individuals up to and including 29 years of age.
Category winners will each receive $2500 thanks to Masonicare and a magnificent trophy.
One of the seven category winners will be chosen as the 2016 NSW/ACT Young Achiever of the Year and will win an additional $5000 thanks to Masonicare and a State trophy.
