More than 130 people were enthralled by the superb cello playing of Rachel Scott within the beautiful acoustics and ambience of the Manning Regional Art Gallery.
Matt Zarb showed off the skills of his ACMF choir from Taree Public School, and they also accompanied Don Spencer the founder of ACMF who also had the crowd singing some of his iconic songs.
Kyle Shilling showed his talents on the didgeridoo and Don (an experienced didgeridoo player himself) announced that he would be putting his didge away as he couldn't compete.
All those attending had a great night - a wonderful Christmas celebration and a fitting farewell to Matt Zarb who is taking his talents to Norfolk Island.
"Matt Zarb and Michael Eyb are truly amazing musicians and wonderful people to be taking our program into local schools," said Don Spencer.
"We are grateful to everyone who supported us but particularly the Manning River Times and the fabulous group of sponsors whose names are still on display at the Centerpoint Arcade. Please support them as they have supported us," said Rotary District governor Maurie Stack.
"The catering by the hospitality students at Taree High School was great and the support of the Friends of the Gallery and new gallery director Noella Lopez was very much appreciated.
"Next year our wonderful director Tanya Brown from Bass'N'Blues will be running our third Schools Spectacular in support of this great program. Watch this space."
