The loss leaves Old Bar in last spot, three points adrift of fifth placed Forster-Tuncurry with two matches remaining. Old Bar meet the Hawks this Sunday at Tuncurry.
Port Macquarie continued on their winning when when thrashing Forster-Tuncurry at Tuncurry 42-12 while Wauchope maintained second spot with a comfortable 28-6 decision over Taree City.
After 12 matches Port Macquarie leads the table on 36 points from Wauchope on 28, Port City 27, Wingham 24, Forster-Tuncurry 23, Taree City 22 and Old Bar 20.
There were three big scores in reserve grade with Wauchope thumping Taree City 20-0, Port City crushing Old Bar 44-9 while Port City downed Forster-Tuncurry 32-12.
Port Macquarie leads the way with 33 points from Wauchope 32, Wingham 29, Wingham 29, Forster-Tuncurry 24, Port City 22, Old Bar 22 and Taree City 18.
Old Bar's under 18s thumped Port City 48-18 to move into third place on the ladder. In the other results Wauchope were too strong for Taree City, winning 42-12 while Port Macquarie defeated Forster-Tuncurry 24-12.
Wauchope leads the competition on 30 points from Port Macquarie on 29, Old Bar 28, Forster-Tuncurry 27, Port City 25, Taree City 24 and Wingham 16.
Taree City's women's league tag side gave the club something to cheer about with a 16-4 win over Wauchope. Forster-Tuncurry moved to the competition lead with a close 18-16 win over Port Macquarie while Port city defeated Old Bar 28-0.
The Hawks lead the way with 32 points from Port City 30, Taree City and Port Macquarie 28, Wauchope 24, Old Bar 22 and Wingham 16.
There'll be two matches next Saturday in week 13 with Taree City playing their final home game for 2015 against Port City while Port Macquarie host Wingham.
On Sunday Forster-Tuncurry will be at home to Old Bar. This will also be Forster's last match at Tuncurry for the competition-proper.
