Last Saturday numbers increased from the previous week, with 109 runners ready to take on the track at 8am.
There were 32 trying parkrun for the first time, and 37 runners beat their personal best.
One of the first timers, was 84-year-old John Doust.
"He only walked one lap but he had a go," John's grandson Daniel Clinch commented on the Taree parkrun facebook page.
"And he said he might be back next week too."
The weekly event involves a 5km run along the Manning River starting at Endeavour Place near the Taree Rowing Club.
