Wingham Bowling Club hosted Tuncurry in the No 1 grade and Harrington in 5 grade with the visitors going home victorious in both encounters.

Tom Moore's team had a good win 29-16 and Rex Dawson got home 15-13, however Michael Clarke's team went down 34-10.
In the fours, Harrington got there by one shot 53-52 with Glen Dennes as skip must missing out in making it a draw with his last draw with his last bowl but winning the rink 19-13.
Graham Walker finished with a 16 all result while Jim Gillogly's rink went down 24-17.
This week we have a double up with teams going away on both days, so all players are requested to check the team's sheets and be ready to travel.
Club singles
The final of the major singles is set to be played Sunday March 15 with Howard Snelson to play Peter Williams. Peter got there by defeating Paul Swan 32-19 then Robert Allen 32-26. Howie defeated Col Hinton 33-23 then in the semi he came up against Toa Proctor and with a good win 31-13.
The minor event is not underway and with games played on Thursday afternoon the results were:
Mark Hammond disposed of John Black 31-18; Mick Hollebone had a good win 31-18 against Dallas Hammond and Peter Kriss also with a good win 31-19 over Snow Trenchard.
Wednesday 'dad's army'
Winning this event were Brian Williams, Mick Marcus and Max Cumberland with their +15 over Peter Williams, Ken Woodley and Guy Watts. Runners-up being Greg Bartlett, Ben Wolters and Gerry De Pyper with their +14 over Tony Baker, Winston Latimore and Jake Kennett. In the remaining game Ross Piggott, John Greentree and Andrew Leung (as swinging lead) got up against Dallas Hammond and Allan Messer.
Wednesday twilight
Taking home winners vouchers were Jim Gillogly, Peter Howarth and Tony Colchen with their 15-13 win over John Crossingham, Peter Tutty and Tony Lowman. Visiting player Wal McCormack and Mick Hollebone got the runners-up with their 14-12 victory against Peter Kriss and Pat Payton. Steve Matheson, Hunter Payton and Allan Dodd got home 20-14 against Mark Hammond, Snow Trenchard and Col McTaggart. Everyone involved enjoyed the sausage sizzle following the game.
Friday mixed
Winners for the evening were Karen Carlton and Mal Cannon with a +14 against Allan Cox and Chris Wiley. Nest best were Robyn Gillogly and Wal McCormack with a +11 over Winstone Latimore and Laurelle Dennes. Lucky card went to Leonie Gilford and Graeme Walker in their game against Maureen Hollebone and Jim Grofos of Harrington Club. In other games Glen Dennes was lucky to have Keenan the Canadian who flew in for a game and they won against Glen Gilford and Sini Wolters with Brian Wiley also on the rink. John Black and Sonya Sontag just got home by a shot over Claudia O'Donnell and Peter Tutty and in the remaining game Jim Gillogly and Lillian Cross had a drawn result against Diane Matheson and Mick Hollebone.
