Both competed in five and came away with five gold medals. Multi class competitors are only allowed to enter in five events.
Talea's results were 50m freestyle time was 33.74 in a personal best (PB) by 2.72 seconds; 100m breaststroke (time 1.35.53 PB by 10.02 seconds); 100m freestyle - 1.14.70 (PB by 8.81 seconds); 50m breaststroke - (PB by 4.66 seconds); 200m individual medley - 2.58.47 (PB by 14 seconds).
This was Talea's first time swimming at the State titles.
She has also qualified for the Australian Age Championships to be held in Sydney in April.
Kimberley achieved four PBs in her five events.
Her times were: 50 free 31.48; 200 back 2:56.14; 100 free 1:11.52; 50 back 36.68; 100 back 1:19.25.
Kimberley has also qualified for the nationals.
Meanwhile Wingham swimmers returned from the North Coast championships held at Coffs Harbour with 26 medals.
The event attracted 328 swimmers from 35 clubs from Gloucester to Tweed Heads.
Talea and Kimberley were among the medal winners.
Swimmers win 26 medals
NINE swimmers from Wingham club attended the North Coast Championships in Coffs Harbour.
There were a total of 328 swimmers from 35 clubs between Gloucester and the Tweed Heads border attending the meet.
Wingham results were:
Kimberley Beaton swam in the multi class events and achieved five gold medals out of her six events.
Nathaniel Deas swam in the nine years boys events and achieved two big personal best times for 50 metre butterfly and 100m freestyle - great effort from Nathaniel.
Talea Fernance swam in the multi class girls events and achieved two silver in the 50 metres breaststroke and 100m freestyle and three bronze medals in 50m backstroke, 50m butterfly, 50m freestyle.
Tallulah Greaves swam in the 14s girls events and achieved gold medal in the 200m freestyle and silver in the 400m freestyle.
Katarina Kladis swam in the 13s girls events and achieved two personal best times for 50m butterfly and 100m freestyle.
Lucas Kloosterhof achieved silver in the 11 years boys 200m freestyle and achieved 6 personal best times.
Jordan Moscatt won four gold medals (50m and 100m backstroke, 100m breastroke and the 200m individual medley), silver in the 50m breastroke and bronze in the 50m freestyle. Jordan was in the 11s girls events.
Jordana Wardrop swam in the 15s girls events and achieved bronze in 50m, 100m breastroke, silver in the 200m breastroke.
Shyanna Wardrop swam in the 13 years girls events and achieved bronze in the 50m backstroke and 50m freestyle and100m freestyle, silver in the 100m backstroke and 200m freestyle.
In total the nine swimmers won 26 medals.

Louise's efforts marshalling swimmers and her monitoring of the automated time keeping system was greatly appreciated. Mark did a wonderful job as official race starter on the Sunday.
