Dennis Smith and Jessie Newman opened the batting and put on an impressive partnership of 72 before Smith fell for a well made 41.
At drinks Wingham were in a good position at two for 87, Robbie Hynes then joined Newman with the latter next to go bowled for a solid 46.
Tim Bridge was next to the crease and he and Hynes then put United to the sword with a stand of 127 with some lusty blows before Hynes was out for an excellent 78.
Bridge went on to make a classy 56 and Wingham closed the innings on seven for 255.
Rhyce Kliendienst and Cooper Lewis took the new ball for Wingham and both bowled with pace and swing with Kliendienst removing the first three United batsmen to leave them three for 15.
Kliendienst finished with excellent figures of four for 11 off his eight overs.
Cooper Lewis was unlucky not to pick up a wicket in his spell of six overs.
Jamie Greenaway came into the attack and removed Meldrum's stumps with his first ball and also picked up a further two wickets to finish with brilliant figures of three for three of six overs.
Blake Sky took his first wicket for B grade and Hynes finished off the United innings to bowl them all out for 44.
An excellent all round performance from Wingham with Robbie Hynes getting Wingham's player of the match.
