The veterans on Wednesday had a very busy day.
The annual open day sponsored by Country Business Solutions was played, there were 81 starters.
The overall winner was Ted Darby from Harrington Waters with 39 points on a count back (c/b).
A grade was won by T Shelly with 39 points, followed by Syd Gilfillan with 38 c/b, third Peter Budden 38.
B grade winners were Bill Sullivan 39 c/b, second P Anderson and third R Wilson 37.
C grade winner was T Darby 39, second E Hammond 37 and third P Hanlen 36 c/b.
NTP third and 12th B Osborne for A grade, C grade A Kenmare, seventh and 16th A grade T Morris, B grade J Strybis, C grade R Thompson.
Straight drive A grade B Norris, B grade I Davy, C Grade R Thompson.
The long drive was won by Paul Dawson.
Ladies Friday comp
NARELLE Smith was the winner of the Friday ladies competition.
Balls were won by Chris Cavanagh, Kae Lane, Anne Palmer, Marcia Fowler and NTP winner was Anne Palmer with 45 marker winner being Gloria Burden.
LJ Hooker Thursday Chook Run
COL Tubby played his first comp game and had a big 25 points, hope the handicapper deals with him as he should.
Next were John Thorburn 24, third Barry Brown 21, and fourth Gary Stackman 20.
The NTP winners were A J Miller on the third and on the seventh Graham Steele fired one in close.
Saturday golf
THE comp. on Saturday was sponsored by Cellarbrations, the winner was Tony Lattimore with 40 points, the A grade nett winner was Glenn Thorburn 39, B grade Jim Bradshaw 36, C grade Garry Masters 38.
The runners up were for A grade Barry Brown 33 c/b, B grade Terry Harris 35, C grade John Broadbent 37.
AJ Miller scored an eagle on the second hole, well done.
The NTP winners on the first and 10th winning the Wingham Plaza Butchers was Ben Marron, on the third and 12th Manning Natural Healing Voucher Denis McKeough, fourth and 13th All About Conveyancing Mone Villayrack, Bayview Seafood Daryl Heywood, ninth and 18th Bent on Food Syd Gilfillan.
