The team will have a training camp in Penrith in early October during the school holidays before heading south. NSW will be one of the leading contenders for honours at the championship.
Harry was selected following the State titles held at Ulladulla where he was a member of the Hunter side. He is the Manning River-Iguana Sportstar of the Week and was nominated by Taree Touch. He wins a $50 open order from Iguana.
Harry was said to be right in the mix for selection in the State side last year. Playing in the middle, he scored six touchdown in 12 games this time around. Hunter finished equal sixth from 13 teams. Harry will play middle for NSW
Harry said Hunter proved to be competitive in most games but admitted the better sides were 'pretty hard'.
His elder brother, Callum, represented NSW PSSA three years ago.
Harry started playing touch in the Taree junior competition when he was about five. For the past two years he's been a member of the Taree side that took part in the State Junior Cup in Port Macquarie.
Harry mixes touch and rugby league. A five-eighth, he's a member of the Taree RSL Red Rovers side that will play Port Breakers in the Group Three under 12s preliminary semi-final tomorrow.
He's also made the Hunter open boys rugby league team and will be in line for selection in the Group Three under 13s next year.
Harry also played hockey for his school and has dabbled in futsal.
However, he says touch and league are his favourites and he's happy he can easily mix both sports.
