The evening of celebration, on Saturday night September 13, will be held in the auditorium at Wingham Services Club.
Sesquicentenary committee project manager Sally Piracha said "With the big weekend of celebrations less than two months away, there's already a great buzz around town. Accommodation is starting to fill up, plans for exhibitions and displays are well under way, and everyone is looking forward to the chance to frock up and celebrate. Tickets will sell quickly."
Tickets can be purchased for $40 per person from the following schools:
o Wingham Public School, Murray Road, Wingham
o Wingham Brush Public School, Isabella Street, Wingham
o Wingham High School, Rowley Street, Wingham
These tickets are already in high demand, so they will be allocated on a first-in basis, and must be paid for at the time of purchase.
