The Blues were in the area as part of a Channel 9 promotion run on The Footy Show. Forster-Tuncurry earned the right to host NSW in a 'That's My Town' campaign.
The players stayed in Taree briefly before heading to the Great Lakes.
Huge crowds turned out at the Harry Elliott Oval at Tuncurry to watch the side train under coach Phil Gould as they prepared for the upcoming clash against Queensland. Club Forster turned into a TV studio that evening when Paul Vautin and co hosted The Footy Show.
