WINGHAM golfing veterans had a visit from the Wauchope veterans and a great day was had by all. There were 63 players and the winner was Terry Morris with 42 points, next was Trevor Jones 4l points, third place was taken out by Geoff Swaffieid 39c/b.

The NTP winners were on the third and l2th Trevor Jones, and on the seventh and 16th Ted Bowen.
The 0BE winner was Ian Morrow 34 points, not bad for a 90 plus year old player. Well done.
Thursday chook run
Winner was Craig Harrison with 23 points on a count back from Robbie Hynes, next was Dave Andrews 22. The sharp shooters winning the NTP winners were on the third Robbie Hynes and on the seventh Mark Fotheringham. Steely is away on new grandchild duties.
Saturday
On Saturday with the weather a bit murky the qualifying round of the Croucher Fencing knock out was contested, this was a 4BBB stableford, and the winners were Darrin Lewis and Scott Blanch with a great 50 points. Runners up were Larry Thompson and Franz Schubert who posted 48 points earlier in the day, next was Trevor Abbott and Steven Fay 46pts c/b. The individual comp was won by Robbie Hynes with 4l points. The eagle nest was won by Kyle Blanco on the 14th hole.
The NTP winners were on the first and 10th winning the Wingham Plaza Butchers voucher was Ron Wilson, third and l2th the Wingham Remedial Massage Simon Crowe, fourth and l2th All About Conveyancing Nev Blanch, Bayview Seafood Franz Schubert, ninth and 18th Bent on Food Syd Gilfillan, and the Caddies shot of the day goes to Simon Crowe.

Coming up on Saturday, June 21 the event will be a stableford for the Manning Smash/ NRMA. Trophy, also the fourth round of the Drummond Golf pointscore. Sunday, June 22 is the final of the matchplay championship. Friday, June 27 will be the Nashos nine hole ambrose (everyone welcome), while Saturday, June 28 the trophy sponsor will be Wingham Computers.
