Several new programs and projects were announced at the launch on Wednesday, May 14 and guests got to see a 12 month calendar of events and upcoming campaigns for tourism partners.
"There has been a lot of foundation work done in tourism, and I'm excited to present some new directions for the next 12 months," said Donna Hudson, council's team leader tourism and public relations, prior to the launch. "Manning Valley Tourism will continue to focus on collaborations and establishing strong tourism partnerships."
One of those strong tourism partnerships is with the Legendary Pacific Coast, with project coordinator Kim Macdonald, also addressing the launch.
