This is being promoted by boxing trainer, Beau Callaghan of Taree.
If successful Callaghan will run another night mid-year where he hopes to organise some professional bouts.
"We haven't had a fight night in Taree for a couple of years since the PCYC stopped doing the Manning River Rumble,'' Callaghan said.
"I've been interested in getting into promoting so I thought I'd give it a go.''
The event has been sanctioned and Callaghan is receiving inquiries from boxers throughout NSW.
He trains two boxers in Taree and both will have bouts while he's also hoping to match other fighters from this area.
Callaghan expects the first bout to start at 7pm with the last at 10.30.Depending on her commitments world champion, Arlene Blencowe hopes to make a special appearance.
