Investigations into armed hold-up

Manning-Great Lakes police are appealing for information about an armed hold-up at a service station south of Taree this morning.

Just before 1.30am, a man entered the Caltex on the Pacific Highway at Nabiac, demanded money and threatened an employee with a pipe.

He escaped empty-handed and headed North on foot.

He’s described as approximately 177 centimetres tall with a medium build.

He was wearing a dark jacket and black pants with white stripes, and was using his grey and white shirt to partially cover his face.
