That's the opinion of race director Rhett Pattison.
The club opted to move the event from Cundletown after 2012 but last year's race was called off because of the weather.
Sunday's race was conducted under overcast skies and light rain fell during some of the event. However, Pattison was generally happy with the outcome.
"The water's good although the weather wasn't the best. It was a bit slippery on the bike but everyone seems to be happy enough with the course.'
"The competitors seemed to like the course, especially the run. And it was a good result for the Forster Tri Club with Jake Schumacher winning.''
He described the field of 110 as 'good numbers.'
"It's a good field size and good support,'' he said.
Pattison doesn't believe there will be any changes to the format next year.
"We're just hoping for some dry roads,'' he said.
"But then again, compared the last year, the weather's great.''
Pattison was unable to compete because of his position as race director. He'd dearly love to be part of the field in 2015.
"If I can get rid of this job I'll be racing,'' he smiled.
