BARTLETT does it again. Greg did not require his mates from down the coast to assist him in winning again last week.
He teamed up with Helmut Fischer and Guy Watts to demoralise Peter Williams, Eric Weir and Peter Tutty to the tune of 30-7 and at one stage Greg's team won nine ends running.
In other games Warwick Lewis returned to the winning list when he, Mal Cannon and Ben Wolters won 14-12 against Adrian Yeo, Rex Thomas and Jake Kennett. Daniel Leadbeater, Mick Hollegone and Tony Baker won 20-14 against Jack Pie, Dallas Hammond and Gerry De Pyper.
Wednesday twilight
Tony Lowman celebrated with Peter Mills and John Crossingham after being declared winners for the event when they overpowered Alan Dodd, Hunter and Rod Payton 14-9.
An 'un-named' team were runners up and they accounted for Peter Tutty, Tony Collechin and Peter Howarth 22-9.
John and Jim Gillogly playing with Alan Cox got up 22-9 against Wayne Goward, Phill Anderson and Neville Bell, and Rex Dawson, Paul Swan and Snow Trenchard had a good win 20-7 against Craig Martin, Barry Smith and Peter Kriss.
Friday Mixed Open
It doesn't matter where Mick Hollebone plays and when it is or who he comes up against, he has that uncanny knack of taking home trophies, and he did it again with Karen Charlton with their 11+ victory over George Floyd and Maureen Hollebone.
In other games Glen Dennes, Graeme Walker and Lillian Cross just got home aginst Peter Tutty, Robyn Gillogly and Lillian as swinging lead. Mal Canon and June Pedron put Jim Gillogly and Claudia O'Donnell out of the event with their good win of +8.
Saturday
Twenty-two bowlers showed up to enjoy the good playing conditions with the following results.
Peter Williams, Col Webster and Gerry De Pyper won 21-11 against the 'luckless' Graeme Ireland, Tony Baker and Snow Trenchard.
Here he goes again. Greg Bartlett – this time he brought in his Wyong based son Paul to get a victory 21-12 over Laurie Mullen and Garry Williams.
Howard Snelson and Dallas Hammond won 16-12 over Barry Smith and Daniel Leadbeater.
Tom Moore and Max Cumberland won 22-18 against Glen Dennes and David O'Donnell.
Rex Dawson and Mick Hollebone just got home 20-14 over Jim Gillogly and Tim Richardson.
