Japanese rider Masatoshi Ohmori, has spent the past week in the Hunter region, hosting coaching clinics and practicing at Barleigh Ranch Motorcycle Track.
Two-time AMA pro grand national singles champion Henry Wiles will do some testing with Kawasaki Australia in Gunnedah ahead of the event, while the remainder of the field will converge on Taree this week.
"It is all coming together nicely. There is a real buzz in the town and the track itself is looking really good,'' Bayliss said.
"The track improvements have all been completed which will make for a better experience. The new three-car entry will also make a big difference for those driving to the event."
This year's Motul Pirelli Troy Bayliss Classic will also boast two father and son combinations with Troy's son Oliver and Jamie Stauffer's son Max both set to contest the 9-U13 65cc and 9-U13 85cc -15cc classes.
"It is pretty cool to be riding at the same event as Ollie. We support each other and there's nothing better than riding bikes together," Bayliss said.
Bayliss has been a semi-regular at the Old Bar Roadside Circuit in the past 12 months preparing for Saturday's event.
Off track features include world freestyle trials champion Jack Field, a Kiddimoto come and try zone for the kids, trade display areas, rider signings and open pit walks.
Gates will open to the pubic at 7am with practice to start at 9am and racing from 10am through until 9pm.
The Manning will also be strongly represented in the feature event, with brothers Damian and Alex Cudlin along with Josh Hook all riding.
Riders including internationals Henry Wiles (USA), Sammy Halbert (USA), Masatoshi Ohmori (Japan) and Shane King (NZ) will practice at 12.30 tomorrow.
