Attendance figures were on a par with last year with over 1000 visitors passing through the door and the most common statement heard was "what a beautiful show".
As usual the craft exhibitors put a lot of effort into presentation of their sites, and the carpeted club auditorium with nice lighting added the finishing touch.
Visitors were asked to vote for their favourite exhibitor and this was won by Bella Embroidery designs.
The children who attended also gave the show a big tick of approval with many of them taking home something they made themselves in a workshop.
The super raffle prize of a Janome Sewing Machine, SewEzi sewing table and Tutto trolley bag was won by Mrs Hazel Blight of Black Head and the lucky door prizes went to Harrington and Old Bar, with two going to Taree.
A survey showed where visitors were from and after Taree, the most addresses were in Forster/Tuncurry, Wingham and surrounding areas, Old Bar, Harrington, Camden Haven, Port Macquarie and Kempsey/South West Rocks.
From the south they came from Nabiac, the Hunter Region, Central Coast and Sydney with quite a few holiday makers from South West NSW also visiting the show.
Craftathon will continue to be held annually at Club Taree, and due to available dates will now be staged on the third weekend in November.
