This included 11 from the club's inaugural year of 1965.
Frank Mills, one of the originals, made the trip from Tasmania to attend. A committee, led by Kirby Stanley, spent the last year organising the event and gathering memorabilia.
The Kevin Lee Memorial single fin competition was conducted as a prelude to the event. This attracted 40 starters and was won by Joel Reading. A total of $1000 was raised from the competition and this will go to the Oncology Unit at Manning Hospital.
The memorial will now be surfed annually.
