Saltwater Boardriders held their first contest for the year at Old Bar. The conditions were clean with wave height at a solid 6-8 foot. The A grade section was won by Ben Dunn, ahead of Frenchman Vincent Primel, Ryan Hunt and Ben Wynter. Eric Safstrom produced some exceptional surfing to win B-grade from Craig Croker, Paul Collison and Bernard Hunt.

The surfing was great with some big charges by sisters Chelsea and Lucy Green. A big thank you also goes out to the Old Bar Surf Club for allowing the Boardriders to share facilities with the nippers.
The weather was superb and the day had a real family vibe, with plenty of new mums and dads and their bubs.
