The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has issued an initial minor flood warning for the Manning and Gloucester rivers.

Minor flooding is likely at Wingham from Thursday afternoon, December 9, and possibly at Croki on Friday morning's high tide.
Heavy rainfall has been recorded across the Gloucester, Barrington and Manning River catchments during Wednesday night, the bureau says.
This has caused rapid river level rises in local and main tributaries along these rivers.
Upstream of Wingham, Mount George is currently steady at a peak, with the main flood peak currently arriving at Killawarra.
Taree is likely to remain below the minor flood level (1.8 metres).
Rises are expected at Croki, though is likely to remain below the minor flood level (1.5 metres).
Harrington is likely to remain below the minor flood level (1.9 metres).
Further rainfall is forecast for the Mid North Coast from Thursday, December 9 into Friday, December 10 with renewed rises possible.
The BOM is closely monitoring the situation and will issue revised predictions where necessary.

- Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
- Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
- Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.
