Myall Lakes MP, Stephen Bromhead said this is a massive win for Old Bar.
"We know Old Bar is booming and with many families moving to the area sports clubs are seeing a boost in participation and need the facilities to support this growth now and into the future" Mr Bromhead said.
"Players will no longer need to travel to Taree to train for the sport they love. It is vital that facilities within the regions, particularly the Myall Lakes help our budding cricketers continue to be involved in sport.
