Ward was captain of the unbeaten Blues side. She was named the group's league tag player of the year, finishing on 24 points at the group's presentation at the Wingham Services Club. Port City's Leilani Grainger was the runner up on 20.
Ward scored 22 tries, the most in any grade while she was the leading pointscorer in league tag, finishing with 22 tries and five goals for 98 points.
Ward was named in the group's league tag team of the season. Earlier in the year she captained North Coast in the Country Rugby League Women's Championship.
Wauchope centre Sam Watts also had a lucrative 2021. He was the co-leading try scorer in first grade along with Oliver Nosworth (Port Macquarie) and Dylan Adams (Port Macquarie) on 13. Watts was the top pointscorer with 154 from 13 tries and 51 goals.
Brendon Pateman from Port City was the leading pointscorer in reserve grade with 70 (3 tries, 29 goals), while Shane Davis-Caldwell from Macleay Mustangs led the way in under 18s with 94 (7 tries, 33 goals).
Christopher Bull from Macleay Valley was top try scorer in under 18s with 10 while Tyler Weatherley from Port Sharks was the leading try scorer in reserve grade with 14.
