School raffle
Lansdowne Public School has a great raffle with 18 amazing prizes up for grabs. This is one of their annual fundraising activities.
Tickets can be purchased at the local Lansdowne post office and are only one dollar per ticket. The raffle will be drawn at the school presentation day on December 8.
The school's other annual event to raise funds for the school is on the last day of school for the year on December 16. This event is their Colour Fun Run.
For this event, the children need people to sponsor them. They have raised a lot of money in the past but this year it is looking a bit glum.
All monies raised will be used to purchase items that assist teachers to aid with the education of the students. Some of these aids can be very costly.
If any one in the community would like to assist the school's fundraising efforts either by purchasing tickets in the raffle or sponsoring the children in the Colour Fun Run, please phone the school on 6556 7147 during school hours.
