These figures are above the State average, with NSW recording 91.9 per cent of residents aged 16 years and over being fully vaccinated, while 94.4 per cent have had their first COVID-19 vaccine shot.
Myall Lakes MP Stephen Bromhead announced the figures on Monday evening and thanked the community for getting vaccinated and for healthcare workers for enabling the region to achieve the "outstanding" vaccination rate.
Vaccinations are available at a number of pharmacies and clinics, including the 56 Chatham Avenue clinic. The clinic accepts walk ins, just fill in your information online first at: nswhvam.health.nsw.gov.au/vam
Booster shots are also available at the clinic in Taree, Monday - Friday, from 9am to 5pm, said Mr Bromhead.
