A total of 80 entries have been received for Friday night's program with 250 on Saturday.
Competitors will travel from Goulburn, Kingscliff, Armidale and Tamworth.
"There is a genuine enthusiasm of swimmers and families to get back in the water and compete,'' Taree Torpedoes official Ian Smith said.
"We are looking forward to a big weekend.''
Events will start at 6.15 on Friday evening and 9am on Saturday.
Nearly 80 events will be conducted.
Meanwhile the club will start operations for the new season on Wednesday at the MALC from 6pm.
COVID 19 rules will apply and all swimmers over 16 must be double vaccinated or show a medical exemption.
