There is "tremendous interest" into whether the Mid Coast Local Government Area will go into lockdown as a result of the Darawank COVID case, Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead said.
"There are meetings happening this afternoon and this evening in Sydney, and I expect to be able to post an update at around 8pm tonight."

Hunter New England Health (HNEH) have advised a positive COVID-19 case at Darawank, north of Tuncurry, in the MidCoast Local Government Area.
"One young female has tested positive and the infection was acquired outside of the MidCoast LGA. All family members have been transferred to COVID health facilities," Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead said.
Mr Bromhead added that further information has been requested.
