These improvements will include the installation of a generator, solar panels and a water tank and pump.
These facilities are being organised by MidCoast Council through a Federal Government grant.
Fishing club presentation
The Lansdowne Fishing Club presentation will be held on Saturday, October 30 at the Lansdowne Bowling and Recreation Club.
For catering reasons, if attending please add names on the list at the club by Friday, October 22.
The next fishing club fundraising seafood raffle will be held on Friday, October 1. There will be 20 seafood trays and 20 meat trays. There will be live music following the raffles by Kerosene Kate.
Lansdowne brigade captain reappointed
Bruce Everingham has been returned as captain of the Lansdowne Rural Fire Brigade at the brigade's annual general meeting held last Monday evening.
This will be Bruce's eleventh year at leading the brigade.
Daniel Gaul was re-elected as the senior deputy captain.
Tim Buxton is deputy captain number 1, John Hawkins is deputy captain number 2, Alister Breingan is deputy number 3 and Richard Coleman is deputy captain number 4.
President is Tim Buxton, secretary is Alister Breingan, and the treasurer is Ray Scott.

Upper Lansdowne hall AGM
The Upper Lansdowne Hall Committee held its annual general meeting on last Tuesday evening at the hall with no change to the existing committee.
President is Ian Turier, vice president Rita Preece, secretary is Helen Breingan, treasurer is Andrew Tilbrook and Al Breingan is in charge of hall bookings.
Coopernook op shop reopens
The Coopernook Op Shop has now reopened.
The volunteers are looking forward to greeting everyone and hope you will find your best bargains at their op shop.
They have some spectacular bargains, with a broad range of pre-loved items such as clothing, shoes, bags, jewellery, furniture, toys, and a whole lot more. Further information about opening times can be found on their Facebook page.
