The grants of between $20,000 and $10 million are being offered to support regions affected by the 2019-20 bushfires.

Eligible businesses have until 5pm on Wednesday, October 6 to apply for a grant.

Member for Lyne David Gillespie strongly encouraged businesses, councils and community organisations to take advantage of the extended application period.

"There are a lot of local businesses impacted by the 2019 bushfires which may have missed out on other funding support and may have applications ready to go," Dr Gillespie said.

"I'm very willing to support all worthy applications, so please reach out for assistance," he said.

"This is a great opportunity for our businesses to receive an extra financial leg-up after the devastating fires."

To be eligible for a grant, your project address one or more of the following kinds of recovery or resilience needs:

Social recovery and resilience - could include community development programs and activities to help affected individuals and communities to reconnect and support mental and physical wellbeing and recovery from the immediate effects of the bushfires;

Economic recovery and resilience - projects that help the community (and not just an individual business) to recover from the immediate economic impact of the bushfires by boosting employment and industries in eligible LGAs impacted by the fires, and

Recovery and resilience of the built environment - projects to rebuild infrastructure damaged by the bushfires.
