However, the Wildcats will field a vastly different side to the one that went down 5-0 to the Tigers in the deferred fixture played at Coffs Harbour last weekend.
Taree had 17 players unavailable across the two senior grades and had to call in under 15s and over 35s.
Dylan Murphy will be the only absentee tomorrow. Murphy, who has been in strong form since joining the club midway through the first round, was replaced early in the clash last Saturday. He has a niggling hamstring/lower back problem.
"We're thinking it will be only a week,'' coach Ben Sedlen said.
The Wildcats didn't win a game in the first round and didn't really look like doing so, although Sedlen said their form improved in the last month. He's confident the Wildcats can turn things around in the second round, especially as there won't be as many trips to the Coffs Harbour area.
"They've been playing and training really well,'' he said.

"So it would be nice to get some points on the board in the second round.''
The Tigers had to play a second catch-up game mid-week against Northern Storm, where they also came away with a win.
"They'll be confident, so this will be another tough game,'' Sedlen said.
Meanwhile second placed Wingham Warriors will meet fourth placed Cundletown Jets in the Southern League men's match of the day tomorrow at Tinonee from 1pm.
The Warriors with 13 points are second to Pacific Palms, with Old Bar and Cundletown both a point away on 12.
