It was "bloody fantastic", he said.
Huge swell subsided in time for the event, which saw vintage hot rods and classic motorcycles compete in bracket sprints and exhibition matches on the sand.
"The weather was fantastic and we spent about three and a half hours on the beach," Andrew said.
About 1500 to 2000 people attended the event as entrants and spectators.
Andrew was pleased rain held off until Sunday for the event to proceed as planned.
He also thanked MidCoast Council and local groups for their assistance on the day.
RattleTrap V will be held on the beach next year.
"But we have to do the wash-up first and haven't set a date yet," Andrew added.
The next venture for the Sydney based club will be the Valla Park Rod Run in September in the Nambucca Valley.
This will be the club's 44th visit to the town.
