Following the annual reports, Mr David Denning, president of Taree Rotary, spoke of the work the club is doing in the community, before declaring all positions vacant, and conducting the election of the new committee for 2021 to 2022 year.

Elected executive are: president Peter Baker, vice president Alan Green, secretary Tony Gates, treasurer Ken Minto, past president John Ward, welfare officer Graham McMorrine, membership officer Terry Britten, bulletin editor Don Sheather, program coordinator Jim Stacey, publicity officer Alan Green, activities coordinator Graeme Drury, committee members David Walker and John Ward.

The position of assistant activities officer remains vacant at this time.

Congratulations to these men, and we look forward to an interesting year of guest speakers and activities.

David then presented incoming president Peter with the collar and bar of office. Peter thanked David for his participation in the day's proceedings, and then Peter took control of the meeting.

First task was to present Alex Drury with a certificate to honour his 21 years of active membership to the club.

Fifteen or so members enjoyed a morning of theatre, attending the movie "42^nd Street" at the Manning Entertainment Centre for our March activity, and later joining for lunch down town.

The next activity is the club's annual "Week In Urunga" during May 3 to 7, followed by the Seniors Concert, courtesy of Steve Bromhead MP, at the end of May.

The club welcomes any retired men from the community interested in fun and fellowship, or want company with like minded men, to join with us. We meet regularly on the third Tuesday of each month, at Taree Railway Institute Bowling Club from 10am.
