TAREE parkrunners were back on course last Saturday following a two week break caused by flooding and resulting damage to the Manning River Foreshore.

MidCoast Council gave the all clear for the run to proceed last week.
A total of 145 runners completed the 5km course that starts and finishes in Endeavour Place, near Manning River Rowing Club. The event was conducted in perfect conditions.
Miles Thornton was again the first runner home. He clocked 18.41 for the 5km journey
Luke Wand clocked a personal best to finish second in 19.43 while Adrian Brown was close behind in third place. His time was 19.45.
Brooke Hosgood was the first woman home, finishing fourth in 20.49. Nine runners recorded personal best times.
Parkrun came to Taree in May 2015. Saturday's run was the 268th conducted.
The 269th run will start at 8am next Saturday.
